    Shann, you saw your blooming?! I am checking mine a few times a day and you didn't notice a spike? You missed the entire pleasure of waiting...LOL (I wish one morning I go to water my plants and see 2-3 blooming without me expecting it...!)

    I am uploading my pics now. This one is a maxillaria and there was no spike really...just buds. Sneaky sneaky!!

    It will happen... lol. And then you will wonder how you ended up with 500+ orchids... lol. Where did they all come from.... hehehe

    I am no longer waiting for these buds to open... I killed them together with some ants.
    The good news is there is another new growth as big as this one and if it blooms from every growth we mey see blooms soon.

    Sorry to hear that, Margo

    But don't worry, Ron is correct about it blooms on every new growth. Mine bloomed in January, now it's blooming again with 2 spikes.
