Fess Up orchid addicts!

Alright, time to come clean--at least to the other orchid addicts. In the last two week (meaning 14 days from whenever you read this) how many orchids have you purchased?

I keep seeing all these fabulous lists of new acquisitions and I am curious how many others have succumbed to that almost uncontrollable urge to shop for orchids.

We don't shop too much for orchids this time of year here because to walk through a nursery involves getting very wet one of two ways. 1) You get extremely rained on by a stray cloud that makes you go home and put your clothes in the dryer, or 2) The heat and humidity has you sweating before the car doors are locked and you take paper towels along to mop your neck and face so you don't look like a drowned rat! lol Otherwise...i'd be shopping!! This girl's got cabin fever bad!

whew... I'm glad the past shopping spree happened more than 14 days ago ;-)

having said that i spent almost 20% of my monthly income on that last shopping spree and as I type this, two flasks of Paphs are on my left, which I haven't got around to deflasking... now each one of those have at least 20 plants so I guess either way one looks at it, I'm a definite orchid addict

i voted 10-20, i dont really recall how many in the past 2 weeks but in the 3 weeks of my
stress buying i was able to get 15 named ones, and 1 catt in bloom. and about 1 dozen
of dens.

3 in the last 2 weeks but none in the 2 months prior. And these I didn't buy but were from a trade

I got 3 in the last two weeks my little mounted ones and my aerides I got this morning, please please dont let me more orchids for sale LOL

I don't know how many I got... Lets see: went to pick up 3 and came back with 6; then two days later got delivery with 21 plants, another two days the other delivery came with 13+1free; Sunday went to pick-up gramm and left with 2 more-bulbo and paph; sent my husband to pick-up one flask and while he was there and we were talking on the phone I "ordered" another one... and one more order on the way-9 plants. Hope I didn't miss something... Oops, I did- I do have another one in mind, but will be only two or three plants... hard to decide... I really want this dend...
