Toshie cross

A dear friend decided I needed an early Christmas gift...and i'm thinking she's forgotten we haven't eaten Thanksgiving yet. lol Bless her heart, she chose this lovely Toshie cross for me. It has some malfunctions; but a little tlc will fix that. Anything from this guys place just flourishes with a little care. I included a pic of the plant. I've been cleaning it up as it has tons of icky old stuff in need of removal. There were five or six old dried up p-bulbs that just pulled out, obviuosly it needs some attention.

Is this the Toshie Aoki x Blc Mary Ellen Carter cross called BLC. David Dolge?

This one is nowhere that color yellow and the petals on the Dolge are much sturdier. While the shape of the petals and sepals is the same, the throat has slight touches on this one and color to the petals that aren't on the David Dolge. Close though...

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love anything Toshie. And it's a great plant, i'm not a Noid snob. lol I have tons, but if I can find out the name, that's great too. Otherwise, i'll give it a nice goofie name.

Nice looking bloom, and it looks like a decent sized plant. I'm sure it will flourish in your care.
