My sarracenias are really thriving, they really love my tropical conditions.
First 2 are leucophylla (wife's fav), 3rd is rubra (i wonder what they're talking
about) and last is my favorite Scarlet Belle.
Enjoy.

This is saw while i was trimming the dead leaves of my Scarlet Belle, geez didn't
know they can be so aggressive with each other.
Wonderful species Randy, my plant died due to the hot weather here, how frequent you change the medium ?
zain
the rubra and leucophylla is relatively new to me, i got them last jun-jul, and they grow
like weeds for me I grow them in my homemade bog pot.... as for the scarlett belle, i
got it last march in a 3inch pot and i repotted it immediately in a 8inch pot... I almost
unpot it last october as its getting ready for dormancy, but then it flowered... so i
decided to skip dormancy and try to harvest seeds, I grow this in a water tray. Both of
them are exposed to full sun from 11am till sunset. I never water them, I only replenish
the water from the tray.
Thanks Randy actually i did the same thing but too hot here finally within 6 months this guys vanish. I always noticed if you are able to make it the individual leuchophylla more than one foot it is a good sign that this plant really like your environment Don't forget to do frequent inspection to remove mosquito larvae inside the funnel.
Those are cool, Randy. I moved the thread to the Land Plant forum for you.
Cheers,

How can you provide dormancy in the Philippines? are you going to put them in the fridge for a few weeks?
I heard that if you skip dormancy the plant will die by exhaustion.
I have a couple and are relly nice!

I think the bug eaters are so cool! I need to replace my large pitcher plant that died. I have looked up the ones like yours many times thinking to start a small collection...yours look amazing. And they attack each other?? Wow! I'd nickname it the pitbull saracenia! lol
Some nice Sarrs you have there, Randy!
How about a close up of the flower?
