    Default Another var of Rhyncovanda Herbert Kurihara

    My Rhyncovanda ( Vandachostylis ) Herbert Kurihara, a dark pink variety has bloomed. Unfortunately before I could photograph it the yellow beetles got to the flowers first. So you can see some damage to the blooms.

    Wonderfully deep colour! We have those yellow beetles here in Phuket as well and their favourite meal seems to be fresh orchid blooms for which they have a voracious appetite!!!
