Lag issues when replying to thread

Folks,

We are aware of the lag issue when replying to a thread. We are working on a solution. Page load, etc.. should be pretty quick. When posting a new thread, that should be pretty quick also.

Currently, we have turned off the quick reply until we get its issue worked out with the new server settings.

Quick reply seems to be working well now. The advanced reply is not working very well, but we are working on it. More updates as things change....

Thanks Murray. We are working on it. Please clear your browser cache and log back into the forum from a fresh download. We have been turning on and off the rewrite engine and that would cause a white page for people who have it cached in their browser.

Many people have noticed that forum automated e-mail updates are not being delivered. We are aware and hope to have that resolved soon. We finally got the DNS reverse look-up configured so that mail from us will not be marked spam. LOL.

LJA is working to get the mail system going again. So, if you subscribe to thread updates, hopefully those will be headed to your inbox again really soon.

Also, for new members awaiting email confirmation - those confirmations will be coming out soon. We appreciate everyone's patience as we get the new server optimized for our community.

Hopefully you have already seen a great increase in page loads across the forum. More news as we progress... (I am so excited to fill you all in on the details!!)
