My local OS does a display and information booth at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle every year. I volunteered yesterday and then enjoyed the show. Unfortunately did not take photos at the show because I didn't want to worry about losing my camera. I did however pick up a couple new Paphs.
I keep seeing Paph. hainanense and really finding myself intrigued by it. I think the flowers look kind of bat-like. I picked up this little first bloom baby at the show.
Then I saw this one across the room and knew immediately it must have fairrieanum in it. Sure enough-it is Paph. Sirita Magray (Paph. Greyi X fairrieanum). Did I mention I really love fairrieanum, including what it does in hybrids.
