Douglas, yes it is sold as liquid B1 root stimulator in garden shops or nursery supplies (bottles in various sizes). It also functions as an activator of plant disease resistance, i.e. see Vitamin B1 Functions as an Activator of Plant Disease Resistance -- Ahn et al. 138 (3): 1505 -- PLANT PHYSIOLOGY
I use it when repotting or transplanting all plants, not only orchids. ATONIK is a super plant growth stimulator of which I mix a few drops with the B1 and I must say the results are excellent (every 10 days or so). Not too much/strong/concentrated, but instead OFTEN yields best results.
