New to Orchids, need some help with my Phalaenopsis

Douglas, yes it is sold as liquid B1 root stimulator in garden shops or nursery supplies (bottles in various sizes). It also functions as an activator of plant disease resistance, i.e. see Vitamin B1 Functions as an Activator of Plant Disease Resistance -- Ahn et al. 138 (3): 1505 -- PLANT PHYSIOLOGY
I use it when repotting or transplanting all plants, not only orchids. ATONIK is a super plant growth stimulator of which I mix a few drops with the B1 and I must say the results are excellent (every 10 days or so). Not too much/strong/concentrated, but instead OFTEN yields best results.

Thanks Michael! I have an almost rootless but still alive orchid that I'm trying to revive, so hopefully this will help. Its from before I had any clue about how to take care of them. I have a couple more now that are doing great.

Hi,
Not a huge amount to share . I have 2 phalenopsis that have survived and actually look pretty good since Christmas. One is done flowering and the other is continuing with a yellow flower with redish-brown speckles in the middle. I am trying to find out what variety they are but have not yet accomplished that. I am continuing to chuckle at my sister who lives in Virginia and is getting dumped on with snow while I in upstate New York have not had that much to shovel.[COLOR="plum"] That's about it. I love to read from this site!
