    Default Gudung Kinabalu

    To climb up to the summit has obsessed me already for many years. This year I've found accompany and we went to Sabah to approach Gudung Kinabalu. It's really a amazing and beautiful mountain.

    This trip is divided in two parts. First day to the mountain hostel (Laban Rata) at 3300 m and next day, at 3 am, up to the summit and back to the entrance of the park.

    every 100-200 m altitude, the vegetation have changed. It was gorgeous.

    the track was very well organise, many shelters and good information.

    unfortunately on Laban Rata I gave up and don't go to the summit. I should make this trip 40 years ago. The beautiful view was my earning for my exertion.

    Oh my god ! Mieczyslaw you have made my day ! These photos have inspired me and strengthened my determination to go to Mt. Kinabalu. I cannot find words to describe it. Those Nepenthes are awesome ! A million thanks for sharing these pics.
