    Default Ornithocephalus myrticola

This dwarf species - epiphyte with no pseduobulbs - from the humid forests of Brazil, Bolivia and Peru is a cool to hot grower. The column resemble bird heads, therefore its name Ornithocephalus (bird head). Flowers are lemon scented; size is about half cm.

    Great plant.
I have one which looks almost identical and is labelled bicornis: do you know how bicornis differs from myrticola?

Lars - I think O. bicornis is even a little bit smaller: mine has about 6 mm wide flowers, yours about 4mm. The leaves are smaller too and I think the column is more yellowish.
Mietek - I don't keep them cool, there are no all orchids from south America cool grower
