    Default Masdevallia citrinella

    M. citrinella (subsection Oscillantes) was first discovered in 1981 by Benigno Malo, growing epiphytically in the cloud forest between Loja and Zamora, Ecuador at an elevation of 1900m.

This is a cool - intermedite growing species that requires high humidity and excellent air movement.Flower size 2cm, tails 3cm. Plant size 5cm.

The species name derives from the latin citrinellus, "lemon yellow".

Amazing, it would appear that if not for the tails, the sepals would be totaly fused. Envy your cool growing ability.
