Was visiting family this past week and saw something moving in the hibiscus bush. It was a tiny green lizard. I had my point and shoot camera and thought he was cute, so here are a couple of shots to share.
Cheers,

So cute, I see he was posing for photographer![]()
Cute little guy. Where were you visting, when you saw him? I saw one this morning and watched as it changed from a light brownish,to a bright green. He was blending in very well with the cattleya leaf he was sitting on. Take Care,Rich
I was visiting my folks in East Texas, Rich.
This guy had a bit of a brown tinge to his coloring as well. He may have been shifting when I saw him jump up on the bush.

He did seem to be posing for you, as Branka said. First going up, then facing down!! He looks very sage, very wise. (I don't know, something abt the expression on his little face in the first photo.)
We have tons of these guys--I am rather fond of them.

Anoles, like this one, are very common in the South.![]()
