I've this plant already for four years, but they are my first flowers. I didn't expect, the flowers are so big. Around 5 cm across.

Have you seen Esmeralda cathcartii ???? Its a lot bigger in flower size and imo, even more visually impressive. Not to say this isn't, this is very pretty.
No Roy, I know just clarkei and bella. Cathcartii, from India I just from pictures. Do you have one?
No I don't, I want one but those that have it for sale want too much for it. Its not common here and they try and capitalise on that fact.
Wow.... this is so beautiful never seen this one, looked at the labellum very unique is it hot or intermediate? Any fragrant?
I understand. Esmeralda clarkei is widespread in Asia, cathcartii is native just to Sikkim and Nepal.
Zainal, no fragrant
These are wonderful: yours does not look like a typical form of clarkei... slightly more bulky and coarser tiger pattern. I have cathartii as well, but never managed to flower it. Whereas clarkei does after a hot summer

Very beautiful.
I like it! The markings do remind me of a tiger.
