My Paph. rothschildianum has some yellow spots?

Hello,
I am not sure what is going on with my Paph. rothschildianum. It has started to get yellow spotting on the leaves. The roots are healthy and there are no obvious pests on my plant. I grow under T5's intermediate to warm temperatures.
I had sprayed my plants with Ortholene and Physan a couple of months ago. Could these chemicals be the cause?
Any thoughts?

It does look like damage caused by a spray. Could the spray mix have been too strong or perhaps the light from your setup combined with the chemical could have bleached out the leaf in spots? I am interested to hear what others think as well. Paph rothschildianum is a beauty of a slipper orchid. I hope the plant remains in good health.

Looks very much like chemical burns to me as it seems to affect mostly the younger and softer leaves. May be your mix is too strong. With chemical sprays it is always better to err on the on the weaker mix.

Thanks for the responses.... I think that I must have mixed the chemicals incorrectly. At least the roots are great and there is a new growth starting at the base of the plant. A valuable lesson learned.

Andre, I have a different opinion. If I am correct, you may have scale. I believe I see a small brown spot inside one or two of the bigger yellow spots. Only you can tell if this is so. I would suggest looking at it with a magnifying glass to better see if indeed it is scale. If it is, let me know...as I do indeed know what and how much to use to kill the scale WITHOUT hurting the orchid. Betty :-)
