It can be a tricky one to keep. I have had these two plants for three years now and I have found It doesn't like too wet or too dry... I grow it under bright shade, good humidity and good air movement.

You are right: I tried this one twice, and both plants died. In both cases a few weeks after I was on holidays ... The greenhouse nanny's never get things quite right and the greenhouse is either too wet or too dry.

I never had luck with this species. I tried it three times and won't try it again.

Sweet! I have considered trying this one but if it is that tempermental, may just resign myself to enjoying those grown by others.

Paul, if you don't try it, you will never know. Plus, it is not that expensive in U.S.
