Chloraea membranacea full of spots - help

Yes.. the dreaded brown spots.
I went on a trip for a week and when I was back I found my Chloraea membranacea full of spots and with yellowing leaves. I have a feeling these are insects bites. The amount of insects flying around my garden is starting to ruin my Droseras, as too many insects ruin their traps.



I grow this lady outside as she is indigenous to my area; nothing is better than mother nature. I'd hate to have to bring her inside.

It looks like a couple things to me... Did you recently fertilize? Do you have plants that drip into other pots? Sometimes my "pleated leaf" plants are sensitive to anything but organic and very weak fertilizers. The tips will turn brown, spot up and leaves will die off. Another thing i've seen cause this is a bacterial infection or fungal infection. I would move this plant away from your other orchids for starters, to be careful. Dripping water from one plant to another can spread infections rapidly. I honestly haven't seen bugs do that sort of damage. The specialists around here will check in shortly for you i'm sure... If you have recently fertilized i'd rinse out the pot with warm water very well. If it's a fungus or bacteria...me? i'm not sure there is anything you can do for this.

I did fertilize but... some time ago, I guess. Weeks. Do you think it could be salt buildup? It's exactly what has been happening (regarding leaves).
There are no plants that drip into this particular plant, though. And it doesn't drip onto another plant.
I will rinse it carefully and then use some Physan 20, maybe? So I cover both areas (bacteria and fungus).

Looks like fungus to me. Did the plant stay wet over night or when it got cool? Treat with a fungicide and keep an eye on it. If it is bugs, then they will also attack your other plants, so an insecticide might be a good idea also. Gool luck.

My other plants are inside so I wouldn't know. This one is indigenous to the area so I let it "go wild". I rinsed the pot today. When it dries, I'll water it with Physan. Or should I use some other systemic fungicide?

I did both these things and it looks worse. Just came back from holidays and found only one leaf.
However I also found a really huge infestation of aphids on my Droseras which were right next to the Chloraea. Coincidence?

The girl at the shop suggested fruit fly, so she told me to use the aphid stuff I bought for this plant too. I'll give it a shot.
