    Cool Pot. Free Spirit 'Carmela'

    This compact plant did bloom before it got really cold outside. Very yellow. The two buds that are starting to open, never did. They were stuck ? Maybe next time I'll get better results. Have Fun,Rich

    Love the color! Too bad about the stuck buds. I had a plant that did that this summer...not sure why; maybe needed more humidity? Anyway, your bloom is gorgeous!

    Every time I see a Free Spirit, I drool. Just cannot seem to grow them well here. Mine seems to languish between here and there.Only managed 2 puny blooms in 5 years. Thanks for posting - at least it reminds me of how the flowers look like.

    Such a beautiful, pure yellow orchid bloom. This is one that we have in our collection and I always look forward to it blooming. Nice growing, Rich.
