Default orchid seedlings... please tell me i have done this right!

I purchased 4 flasks recently, they arrived today all shaken up so I had to transfer them asap. This is what I have transfered them to... I have never done it before, I did a lot of reading up on it but I hope I got this right....

    Default looks fine to me

In fact it looks very good! Much neater than what I've done. Take pictures of them periodically as they grow.

Keep them warm and darker than the adults for a while. Looks like you did a great job to me. Better than I did on my only attempt at it. Keep us updated.

How long does it take for them to get more firmly rooted? I deflasked a week ago and they dont seem to have done anything yet! Also, how wet should I be keeping them?

Hannah you have done a very good job. But it will be atleast a couple of months (1 to 4 depending on environment and species) before they show any activity of growth, patience is the key. The only sign that everything is going fine, is that they live for those first few weeks. If they do not rot (turn black) or shrivel or do anything weird then they are good. Just that they should stay green, no yellow and no black. A few very small or undifferentiated plants will die but that no. will be low. I you see any plants having fungus, remove those plants and spray all the plants with 0.5 % Hydrogen peroxide solution which is freshly made.
