    Default Longwood Gardens Orchid Show

    I thought I would post a few of my photos from the Longwood Gardens Orchid show which is going on this weekend in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately a lot of my pictures didn't turn out becuase of how bright it was in their conservatory. The last photo (a bit washed out) is of a thirty foot wall in the conservatory covered in white phalaenopsis. What a great show!

    Here are a few more. My favorite orchid of the whole show was probably the paphiopedilum gigantea which is in one of the photos I posted. I knew they were big but not that big! Wow!

    Jeff, I think the Mount Toro I photographed is also from your display. You guys have a great collection of orchids this year! The brassada has so many blossoms on it and that firey orange makes it quite incredible!
