Another Noid this one is 3

Hi Everyone,

Since y'all seem to like to see my NOIDs here is number 3. So called because that's where it's picture ended up in the lineup.





And here is the entire plant.



Notice that one leaf with the brown spots had those in the other pic too. Should I excise that or just let it go? The bloom is from last year I just found that picture when I was clearing HD space.

That's a pretty one! Looks like a Blc. to me, but the flower shape is remarkably (and pleasingly) Laelia-influenced. More of a trumpet shape than the typical flat-faced big-nosed floof. I have no idea what it is though.

That's a beauty. Love the throat contrast. Is it fragrant?

That is pretty, love the color , if the spots have not increased, and are not mushy , I would leave it alone , growing outside it could be caused from about anything , brusing , hot sun ect . if it has gotten worse then I would cut if off . I had hail damage a couple last year they still have the crummy leaves on them . Gin ...

Hmmm don't remember if it is fragrant or not. The flower was a pic taken last year so can't sniff it even with a wolf's nose. Thanks for the compliments though I can't really take credit for that bloom as it was before they were left in my care. But it's got lots of new growth now.

The spots on the one leaf (which I think is the oldest) have gotten bigger, but are not musshy or anything. It just looks like it played in the mud while I wasn't looking or something. Will keep and eye on it. Maybe I should do the nursing thing and circle one spot with a felt tip pen and see if it enlarges...

Hopefully it likes me like the other one and will bloom again. <G>

Wolf, that *is* really pretty, and I agree with Gin: Catts just seem prone to bruising and hardened leaf yuck (how's that for scientific...), so if it's not spreading, I'd just just leave it be.

BTW, since it is a Catt cross of some sort, I'm moving this thread into the Catts in bloom section....

Thanks Louis I've still not really figured out identification on these things quite yet. I thought I had it down until I looked at a site which listed way more Genuses, Genui than I thought there was. I was like Oh my god there are that many.

I'd prefer geni or d'jin but oh well. If that site is right think I'll give up on being able to tell them apart and just say "dat purty flower o'er yonder" after all I'm just a mad scientist not an evil genius
