Thanks for sharing Vincent, I'm sure yours will be this big in a matter of time. I think Bulbo. fascinator has got to be one of the most unique orchid blooms.

Vincent, the name Bulbophyllum fascinator var. hempaliana is a nomen nudum, that is, it's never been validly published before. The varietal name was coined, I don't know who gave it varietal status, by Georg Hampel.

Out of curiousity, I think there are at least 4 varietal names running around...
hampeliana, corazone, alba and semi-alba, so hampeliana is not validly described, so what about the rest?
