One of the recent orchids I found in the forest thickets of Bukidnon, Mindanao island, Philippines.
I have no idea what's the name of species.
It is far different from other Acriopsis species I had in the past.

The widespread Acriopsis javanica.
Widespread it may be, but still subtle and demure in color and substance, which has always been a bit rare in this world. AL
True Al, especially nowadays when we are surrounded by large and gaudy man-made hybrids in megawatt colours that were artificially created not to attract pollinators and be a part of nature, but to attract humans and be completely tamed in a garden.
Very true Mr. Suarez. AL
Is this color common in Philippines?. What I have growing wildly in my garden is darker in color.
Really a nice and simplistic elegance this orchid has.
Cheers,
