Thanks for that Pavel - I guess I might not have got there without the help since I have been away a couple of weeks, and still have 3/4 of my orchids to look over and water etc; ( I wasin West Africa, hoping to see Ansellia in the wild - no luck) .
I have looked at the show pics - shows are so difficult to photograph I find. The big stands are amazing, but reduced to a few inches across, the details can't be seen . I could put names on a few things,not labelled, but its not worth the effort I think. BTW Dick Clemens is a Phrag not a Paph. ( Dick himself is no longer of this world, I think, and was an experimental biologist rather than an orchidist , so perhaps he wouldn't mind anyway !)

Very beautiful.... this orchid is definitely a looker. I can only guess the attention it got 25yrs ago when you first got it. Me, I can only hope that I can keep my orchids alive for that long.

Very nice paph, Geoff. We rarely if ever see any complex paph here as they are mostly cool growers, so I was quite surprised to see a few here grown by some nurseries in the highlands. I took some pictures but, of course , as is the usual practice here all NOID.
You must be disappointed not being able to see the Ansellias in the wild.

it might have cost alot but i think it was worth it, especially after 25 years
