Letting "Mother Nature" pollinate the orchids

A few week ago I used the toothpick method demonstrated here on the forum to pollinate this orchid. I think it worked???
Can someone please tell me if this is a seed pod???

Yes, seed pod is developing. That phal is pregnant.

Yes, it looks like the beginning of a seed pod.

Yes, it sure is, but in this early stage of development, you have to take good care, avoid exposure to very bright light and too much heat, this may cause termination of the fruit. Keep the plant evenly moist.

Should I move it from its normal spot at my window sill??

Do I still fertilize weakly weekly??? It has 2 spikes, the one the pod is on, and one that is all still buds. Do I keep both spikes or should I clip one off so it can concentrate on the pod???

Sorry a little hazy, but wanted to update the photos!


The seed pod it about 2 inches long now!



All the pedals around it lost their color but are still hanging on even though they are dry and really thin.



Picture of the other spike on the mother orchid! Still putting out buds like crazy!
Was wondering if I should cut off the other spike so all of its energy could go to the pod?
and Do I still fertilize weakly weekly???
