I have a Stanhopea Ronsard (oculata X wardii) that has reliably bloomed and produced new shoots for a number of years. I repotted my two plants in October of last year (2010), but I still don't see any new growth nine months later. The leaves from last year still look good (or as good as I can expect from a Stanhopea). Is Stanhopea one of those orchids that sulk for awhile after repotting? An area grower told me that many of their orchids lost significant growing time from the cool, wet spring, but this is worrisome.
