Guys, you are right. It is a Phal. intermedia, a natural hybrid native to my country. It's supposed to occur naturally only on the island of Leyte in the Philippines. Has since found its way around the country.

yea, i would be inclined to agree more with those that actually grow them. I have a great book i look in for ID's, but it isnt always accurate.

Thanks for that nice thought, Andrew. Yes, she would be pleased. I also managed to rescue her pteroceras orchid which I posted under "Other Genera". During her time, native Philippine species orchids were popular since hybrids were not yet readily available.
