catasetum pileatum white "snow cup"

got this plant two years ago but the thriving journey of this plant soon came to an end after being attack by snails. after dividing the pseudobulbs again, on of the division finally gave the very bloom that i was waiting for. the white plieatum, my favorite of all pileatum.

Congrats! this is awesome. I do not have a Catasetum, Don't know whether it would grow in my climate, but I am certainly going to read up on it.

hopefully eventually you will end up trying one of these graceful orchids. good idea with the read up first, unlike me i killed my first one and at that time i am zero on catasetums. with readings and helps from the forum, i manage to learn more about them.
