Default One last blooming before it gets tossed

Got this Hippeastrum around Xmas. I generally never get a rebloom no matter what advice I try. This one must know that its time is almost ended. I left it outside for the summer just for the heck of it. The plant does show all the hallmark signs of being virused so it will not be staying here once it finishes blooming.

I love hippeastrum. Have you tried potting it in the smallest pot that the bulb will fit into to rebloom it?

I think I have tried everything, Yew. LOL. They are just among those plants that dislike something about my conditions.

When we moved into the old house across town. There were flower beds all the way around the house. One small area had a mind boggling amount of hippeastrum bulbs all growing smushed together. There were so many they were square instead of round. I separated them out and when we moved I dug tons up and brought them with us. I am sorry to see yours dont thrive. Mine love miricle gro, lots of water and tons of sun. They are one of the few plants that can handle full afternoon sun here. Maybe you need a different variety. They have some now that are very virus and deer resistant.

Sounds a bit like me and Masdevallias, or passionfruit vines. I had 3 purple passionfruit and 6 Granadillas and all died in a few weeks. I have tried everything and nothing works Murphys law ae? (Granadillas are not cheap here either, i was not impressed!)
