Flowers about the size of the finger-nail on my little finger ( well I do have big fingers ! )but flowers repeatedly - as you can see in one picture.
Never going to be a show-stopper I'm afraid , but somebody loves it . One reason is that it almost always in flower on one or other of the modest number of flowering stems.
The nearest relation is a Zygopetallum , would you believe !

Yes about 1cm. Easy to grow ? Everything is easy to grow - all the ones in my collection anyway ; the ones that are not, die on me, and they are not in the collection... It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy !
To vbe more serious, yes I do have a few that don't actually die, just mimp along without doing much, but they too get expelled from the class for being that naughty !

I like it. You have got to love something that tries hard to bloom often. In regards to your orchids that just "mimp along", I believe I understand your point. If they just sit there barely making it they cannot 'graduate from one class to another' so whats the point of having them? There are to many others who are encouraging as they grow and bloom that need your help. AL
