Whata cute Mosuebird, first time seeing this one here. i think its good for your plants to have them in the greenhouse since it can help with the aircirculation by flying, ear some pest and droppings as ferts.
such a cute little birdie! ooh whats his name?!

His or her name is Baby
Very fitting! He/r is just beautiful! Congrats![]()
Did you hand-rear the bird? What a great addition to your greenhouse.
That little bird is so fun. What a cool companion for you and your orchids.![]()

Hi Cathy yes we did hand rear this little beauty. He/r was brought into the house at maybe 4 days old, by one of our three cats. We decided to take care and become babys new parents. You can understand what this meant, keeping to a two hour feeding program using crushed fruit, nectar, and what ever he accepted. My baby is now ten months old and likes being with us rather than in the cage. The other day baby got out of her cage, flew around the house and visited me in the kitchen.
There are a few exotic bird breeders here in florida that specialize in Mousebirds. I know they are very parrot like for a softbill. He/she is a cutie!
Baby is just adorable!!!! What a great friend to have.
