Very exotic by form and colors. All the orchids characteristics add up to one extraordinary plant. AL
Thank you all.
For those who want to know what this one looked like a couple years ago, click on the old threads(you will find them if you pull your computer screen all the way down.)
The old pictures show that is doesn't not have a distinct blooming season, right? It definitely seems to be a slow grower.
It blooms year round, Cathy. I guess you don't know much about these types of orchids. They are miniatures, Even the specimen plants don't look big. If you are counting the number of growths it has produced so far, it definitely grows a lot faster than Cattleyas and Vandas.
FYI, if you google, you may realize this is a specimen plant. About six months ago, it got 16 flowers and some buds at one time. If I were into the judging stuff, it would have been awarded a CCE/AOS then.
Stunning orchid! WOW. Love the plant and the blooms.
cheers,

Tom, I don't know much about the miniatures. I know enough to get myself in trouble with them. I figured it had to be specimen sized. It truly a lovely plant that could easily pull me down that road of growing orchids indoors.
I am always amazed with how much varieties you have in your collection. Amazing!!
