    Default Vanda tricolor v. Suavis

Thought you might like to see the new addition to the collection. This makes plant number 4. I must say I did have a job getting it into the house.

    The main cane is over 1 meter tall ( 40 inches ) & its in a 250mm ( 10 inch ) pot.

Wow, Roy. That is HUGE and a great addition. I would say, "send me one of those keikis", but you are at the other side of the globe.

Soon or later you need to support it, I notice the leaves of your plant relatively shorter than those grow near the Equator.

I have done some work on supporting it Zain, some large stakes & ties. I notice the shorter leaves in comparison to my other plants of this. I'm thinking growing conditions and maturity, maybe I'm wrong, not sure.
