Meiracyllium trinasutum

A dwarf epiphyte, lithophyte or sometimes terrestrilal orchid without psuedobulbs, found in the forests and on rocks of southern Mexico and Guatemala.
The genus Meiracyllium includes only two species (trinasutum and wendlandii).
Flowers are slightly fragrant.

I love the color and shape of the blooms, Branka - and it has a fragrance, too? Sounds like a perfect combination. Are these hard to find (to add to my collection, I mean)? How difficult is it to grow - does it need very specific conditions?

I grew mine mounted: cool to hot growing conditions should be given. The leaves are succulent so there is no need to water it each day: I mist/water mine every second day. Water should be reduced after flowering. It blooms once per year - from early spring to early summer: the blooms are not long-lastin, perhaps 7-10 days or so, depending on conditions.... And it smells like cinnamon.

Looks like it needs a lot of light by the color of the leaves. Is that so?
