Phal. gibbosa

gibbosa is from vietnam and thailandica from...well easy to guess!
these separation/clarification between the two species was done in 2009 by Olaf Gruss, a german taxonomist. ( by googling gibbosa you won't find the information easely, this is how internet goes! same with people, gibbosa is clearly, for a lot of people what must be called thailandica now)

so i pick this picture from Olaf for educationnal purpose:

Pavel, the mass of the plant is about 6 inches, though several of the roots reach further down than that. It's about 3 inches wide, thought again, some of the roots reach further than that. When I stacked another piece of tree fern bark on it, I went out about an inch and a half on both sides and not much length on the vertical side of it. Bruce when I answered your post on the Max. tenufolia, I was somehow thinking you had posted that on this thread. Anyway thanks to you and malani for the kind words. It's a fun little mini Phal species that there seems to be some issues with what it is called. Have a great day
