    Smile Praying Mantis in the backyard

    I finished watering the vanda and was inspecting the plants when I saw this tiny praying mantis. I would guess it is about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length. I have no idea which kind it is...time to go look it up.

    Those are very GOOD insects, they eat other insects like SCALE! I, personally love to see them in my gardens/on my orchids. Betty
