    No organization to give awards in France? That is surprising! Here in Malaysia we used to have award committees from various organizations but sadly these societies/organisations seem to go into permanent hibernation as far as awards are concerned. The only awards are given by the Orchid Society of South-east Asia (OSSEA) but that is a Singapore organisation morphed from the Malayan Orchid Society(MOS).Oh yes, there are various state orchid societies but no awards just blue ribbon judging.

    Yes it is ! It existed from 1913 to 1946. Last year, judges training (3 years) were created.
    However, some French are international judges.
