when i say hot, i mean hot... tina hangs from a rigged up coat hanger tied off from my upstairs neighbors balcony... full blazing intense tropical sun, peak months between 95-100+F with the auto drip on at least twice a day for a good soaking... the other thing is that it doesnt like getting too chilled in the winter, 75 sounds like its wintering temp! mine usually only gets down into the 50's mybe a dip into the upper 40's but thats just a night or two...
While this species can handle warm temperature during the growing season, it needs cooler winter months to bloom(in spring). Water it well during the warmer months but slightly drier(but not totally dry) in winter. Good light year round is a must for this one.
I now keep mine on the top of a vanda rack...it has begun to grow better. It is getting 95 degrees nearly every day and looks better than ever.
