A couple of things in spike right now, but here's the one that really gets me. I got this mini-phrag in Feb last year with 1 growth; it now has 3 and is fixin' to bloom for the first time. Unfortunately, I will be leaving town soon for an extended business trip, and fear I may miss it's blooming. My DH will have to take a pic for me if that happens!

I must be the only person this summer without a single spike. Either I have a bunch of fall/winter bloomers or I'm doing something way wrong.![]()
miller's oncidium sharry baby looks incredible! mine's putting out one spike and i'm going mad waiting for it to bloom. although it did bloom for me back in february, so i can't complain. but it is taking forever!!!!!!! and i keep trying to feed it, and should probably lay off the fertilizer. i'm getting burned tips!!!!![]()
I feel your pain, mine put out 8 spikes at one time then sent out the 9th. I don't see any buds on any of them and its been months! Here are some pics of my others; the Gilded Urchin is having some bud blast, 4 of them. The Onc Heaven scent has only blasted one so far. The Doritis Pulcherrima has a nice spice, sorry about the picture sucking. Tried to get a better pic of the sharry baby but I guess my 45 minute photography class did not pay off!

ok, here goes, i have my sharry baby, an epidendrum that i believe will be the tiny purple flowered one (from how the leaves grow up, not out) that i bought last summer, and a phal i've had for about a year that is finally spiking again, it will have yellow/orange flowers. i also have a dendrobium kingianum, but th it is just starting and hard to photograph, and a vanda paki that *i think* is starting 2 spikes, so no picture yet until i'm certain, but that's it in the pic with the epi.
