"Saphire"? Oh well, though "Ruby" would seem to have been appropo, beautiful nevertheless.
That is what the tag said
Oh I believe you ... just think whoever named it was really 'stretching'.![]()
Very pretty. Vuylstekeara (Vuyl) = Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum: Miltonia x Oncidium = Miltonidium (Mtdm).
Very pretty! Love it!!

A really lovely red!

Hi, I am new to the site and pretty much joined because of this very flower. I typically have a brown thumb but have been doing decently well with several Phal's that I have. So, I got brave and ordered some orchids and well this was one of them. It was in bloom when it got to me and stayed that way for a while. Now, several months later, the blooms are all gone and the leaves are "wrinkly" in some spots but not others. There are some new leaves and the spike is still there. My main question is to the pot originator but anyone can answer that has experience with these guys.
What is the best way to care for this variety as far as watering, repotting, fertilizing?
If anyone has had success with these, what are doing with them??
Thank you for the help in advance!
