    Default Orchids - I wish...

You finish the sentence, relating to orchids.

I wish...Cattleyas were free-blooming. Flowers that last 1-2 weeks from only new growths once a year just doesn't cut it.

Haha...do you think it's possible they're too humid in the enclosure you have them in? Just a thought. I don't bother with humidity at all, and mine never blast. I just leave them in the window to do as they please.

Yea that's interesting so humidity can be a bad thing for buds? Well if it keeps up i shall switch the humidiffier off and see if it makes a difference

Well, I'm not entirely sure. It was a suggestion, because I know mine really don't need jungle-like humidity...and other than that, I can't see why you'd have so much bud blast if you're not constantly moving them around to different levels of light and temperature.

I wish .... that scale / mealy bugs didn't attack orchids. Those pesky things could eat other things, just not my orchids - I WISH!

I wish... I could pivot my apartment around so it gets more sun and didn't face NNW!... (and also that those young plants of mine would grow that little bit faster ).
