Another NMO (Not My Orchid) from our October show. This is Bc. Hippodamia x C. aclandiae, and was pulled for AOS judging...it got an HCC, and I quite like it.

I bought one from the same grex, but mine has not flowered yet...who knows whether mine will be nearly this pretty! But then, you never know!

Dear Kathi: well isn't she a sweetheart with her blush and her freckles... Do show us your plant when it flowers: I am always interested to see what comes out of a buy because you never quite know and it is always a bit of a gamble (but that is half the fun!) I am always pleasantly surprised because I have learned to always expect disappointment. I think that's the way to go: that way it always turns out better than you expect!
