well it happened, I lost my vanda blooms. Yesterday I bit the bullet and cut the stalks. So sad. They had not even bloomed completely. The blooms looked like they had their heads tucked into their shoulders. However, the leaves seem to be doing great, and new leaves are on the way. Does anyone have suggestions on how I should care for this guy during this period. Does he need to go outside for the summer? What's the lowest temp he can take? What kind of time table can I hope for as far as reblooming? thanks,

Without knowing the exact Vanda it is difficult to give precise info.
Normally true Vandas flower once a year.
They require very strong light so outside during the summer is a good idea.
They also require lots of water & fert when growing.
How is the plant "potted" , is it in a basket for instance.

Here's a link to what my Vanda looks like. he has about ten sets of leaves at the moment, with two more on their way. I've got him in the brightest spot in my apartment. He's in a basket with no potting medium at all. His roots are a healthy white/green. He previously had two stalks blooming together with about ten blooms on each stalk. Any suggestions?
