Cool Rhynchostylis Gigantea x Vanda tessellata; first blooming and Vanda's Paki, #1 and #2

I had really wanted one of these and after much searching I bought a near blooming size plant. It arrived with icky roots. So I did a major soak (on the entire batch), hung them around the trellis and forgot about them. This one attached to the tressis in a way that leaves me no choice but to cut the section it has attached to...after this blooming is done. I have my two Vanda Paki included in the post. They have the coolest flowers....

It smells like grape kool-aid. Very sweet scent, but faint so far....not one that will fill a room with scent. Maybe when it gets a little bigger it will start putting out that sweet smell.
