I do not notice an abundance of keikis, do you follow the advice that after the reed has flowered you should cut it off at soil level to stop keikis from forming, and promote more stems growing?
I have started doing this and found this method beneficial.

Thank you Angela I did not know that and yes their is an abundance of keikis, you just can't tell from the picture. What I been doing is cutting them and transplanting them into different pots, so far I have 4 pots with and average of 5 to 6 keikis on them and they seem to be doing great I plan on giving them to some of my family members and friends.
i live in an apartment, so at some point i keep the keiki and give away the mother plants! i love seeing big bushes of these in people's yards.
