Dean may I ask what medium this Epicattlya is planted in and how bright is your light exposure? Any other tips would be most helpful! Thanks in advance! AL

Those are great photographs of the lovely orchid.
Thanks Al:
The culture is a very standard Cattleya culture. I grow the plant in bright light with good air movement and intermediate temperatures. I water and allow the plant to dry but not stay dry. The plant is fertilized weekly when actively growing and monthly in the winter months. I use the growing medium that I use with most of my Catts. which is Orchiata supplemented with charcoal and perlite. The orchid has been easy to grow. The only hint , I can offer, is that young plants seem to require more water to do well. The plant is fairly tall but is easily staked and does not require much horizontal room. The blooms are long lasting.
