How to make a Phrag bloom?

I own two Phrags. Memoria Dick and Schrodeare. I bought them a few months ago and as per sellers they are in blooming size. They produce new shoots and roots but no spikes :/

I keep them in LECA.

Hi, as long as you give your phrags the proper light,water and care they will bloom for you when it is time for them. Blooming sized plants don't usually mean that they will bloom immediately. It just means that they have reached the size to bloom and will bloom if given proper care. I have some that bloom like clock work every year at the same time and I have others that will bloom at different times each year or may even skip a year. The ones that skip a year usually reward me with multiple spikes thus making the wait more than worthwhile. Hope this helps. The key word here is patience and oh how I hate that word! LOL

I keep them on a windowsill. They get some direct sun early morning but after a couple of hours the sun is gone.

Aneta, Phrags can take fairly high light. They will preform best with higher light.
