This very popular hybrid is blooming at my house at the moment and I'm glad that one of it's parents (D. pulchellum) is also blooming now. Thanks for viewing.

Congrats!! They are both outstanding.
Gorgeous!!
I love Gatton Sunray. Such a dependable bloomer and a very tough plant: it's almost impossible to kill. Very pretty pulchellu as well. I just recently managed to get a small plant from a friend.

very beautiful!does it need cool night temperatures to induce it to bloom? i have one but it's still very small. can't wait for it to grow like yours!!

Beautiful lemon yellow on the Sunray!
nice blooms,my Gatton Sunray is getting ready to bloom for the first time, hope they come out as nice as yours
Here in Malaysia it does not need any change in temperature to bloom. A well grown clump of plants will bloom several times a year even from the old leafless canes as long as it gets plenty of light, even to full sunlight. It is very easy to grow it into a specimen plant.
Beautiful!!
