    yes the colors are pretty accurate. I've been very impressed with the colors on this new camera I got (canon powershot s80)--my old fuji finepix 2800 distorted some of the colors, especially the reds/purples. this one seems to capture the true colors pretty well.

    It took me a while to warm up to this one. After looking at it a few times, now I think it is a pretty one. Great color and pattern!
