    Default BLC unusual behavior

Have a large BLC that is growing out of the pot , was going to repot when new growth starts after flowering.Plant has a different idea , it has just finished growing it's flowering sheaths & decided to start some new growths
Never had this happen in the 8 yrs i have had plant so wondering if this is usual behavior.
I repotted anyway as new roots are sprouting everywhere.

Closer look at the new growths.

    2 new growths.

Best time to repot is before the roots get too long. Shouldn't have any problems. Maybe remove some of the dried husks off the canes, can cause rot & protect bugs.
