now here's something that isn't as common. these three pictures were taken at one of the NY shows a few years back; all are the same PRIMARY HYBRID grex and illustrate some of the variation.

Is one of the parents concolor?
not concolor but you are on the right track, one of its parents is a brachy (hint: the background color does not come from the brachy parent, however).
Could one of the parents is malipoense? Somehow I am having a craving for something very sweet. Where is that box of my favorite candy that I bought at Marshall Field's in Chicago?
Hehehehehe!
Cheers. Hoa.
malipoense is a parent!
Hoa keep that box to yourself! and the ice cream for that matter...
You know, Marshall Field's in Chicago is very famous for one of their candy ... That is what we need for Jason's another riddle!!! Hehehehe! BTW, can I have your ice cream with my candy? Hehe!
So how did I do?
Cheers. Hoa.
LOL - did anyone actually get any work done today???
Julie
Okie, I stop checking on the site, hehehhe!
well it looks like the cat is out of the bag...Hoa, Diane, Julie all figuring out that it is Mint Chocolate, godefroyae x malipoense. The malipoense influence is clear, with the yellow-green coloration, inflated pouch, and the unique bi-color staminode.
very similar to Ma Belle (bellatulum x malipoense).
I'll go look for a harder one, no more of these easy primary grexes![]()
And Hoa - -- STOP GIVING ALL THOSE HINTS!!! We want to figure out for ourselves!! (at least I do...)![]()
